the NHS app and how it can help

The SMC was asked to run a briefing for science, health and tech journalists about the new NHSX app being piloted next week. The experts on the panel were those who have been central to the discussions around developing the app and were able to explain how and why it can make a contribution to moving to the next phase of tackling the pandemic.

Dr Ian Levy, Technical Director of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC)
