Researchers from UK Biobank will this week report results of a major government-backed study of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The study measured the levels of previous infection in various population groups across the UK, as well as how long antibodies persisted in those who were infected.
We invited journalists to hear from UK Biobank scientists about this research into the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speakers included:
Professor Naomi Allen, Chief Scientist for UK Biobank and Professor of Epidemiology at the Nuffield Department for Population Health, University of Oxford
Professor Sir Rory Collins, UK Biobank Principal Investigator and Chief Executive and British Heart Foundation Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford
