preprint on the immune response after the first dose of Pfizer vaccine in those with and without prior infection

A new preprint from researchers at the universities of Sheffield, Oxford, Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham looks at the T-cell and antibody responses in health care workers after the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and is able to compare these immune responses in those who had prior infection with SARS-CoV-2 and those who did not. Journalists dialled in to hear from the authors of the study explain their findings and answer any questions about the work.

Please note this data is a preprint, so it is early work that has not yet been through peer-review and is not published in a journal.
