Latest results from the REACT-1 study on COVID-19 prevalence across England

The REACT-1 team from Imperial College London has now completed round 17 of their study looking at virus prevalence across England.

This batch of data includes over 100,000 swabs collected between 5 and 20 January 2022.

The data looks at infection prevalence by age and region and also give an estimate of the R number.  The scientists will also present sequencing data and risk factors.

Please note this data is a preprint, so it is early work that has not yet been through peer-review and is not published in a journal.

Speakers included:

Prof Paul Elliott, FMedSci, Director of the REACT programme, and Chair in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine, Imperial College London

Prof Christl Donnelly, WHO Collaborating Centre for Infectious Disease Modelling, MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, Jameel Institute, Imperial College London; and Department of Statistics, University of Oxford
