IPCC AR6 – Synthesis Report

The Synthesis Report is the final part of the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report (AR6).  It is fully based on the reports of the three Working Groups of the IPCC plus the three Special Reports (Global Warming of 1.5°C, Climate Change and Land, and on the Ocean and the Cryosphere in a Changing Climate). It provides an overview of the state of knowledge on the science of climate change. 

Speakers included:

Prof Peter Thorne, Director of the ICARUS Climate Research Centre, Maynooth University, Ireland; and Section Facilitator and core writing team member for the synthesis report

Dr Friederike Otto, Senior Lecturer in Climate Science at the Grantham Institute, Imperial College London; and core writing team member for the synthesis report

Dr Chris Jones, Research Fellow, Earth System and Mitigation Science Team, Met Office Hadley Centre; and core writing team member for the synthesis report
