Reaction to WHO Director-General, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus’s, opening remarks at the February 28th media briefing on COVID-19.

Prof Brendan Wren, Professor of Microbial Pathogenesis, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), said:

“The WHO ten recommendations are highly sensible, practical and should be embraced by all communities. COVID-19 is not freely spreading within communities so there is still time and hope to prevent the global transmission of the virus”
