expert reaction to study of what would happen if all smokers switched to e-cigs

The potential results of what might be if all smokers switched to e-cigarettes, are published in a new study in Tobacco Control.

Prof. John Britton, Director of the UK Centre for Tobacco & Alcohol Studies at the University of Nottingham, said:

“This study models the health benefits that could be realised by radical policy approaches that strongly encourage smokers to switch from tobacco to electronic cigarettes. The benefits are massive, and demonstrate the importance of embracing, rather than rejecting, the potential of this new generation of nicotine products.”
