It has been well documented that people from ethnic minority groups are disproportionately affected by SARS-CoV-2. A meta-analysis into the effect of ethnicity on clinical outcomes in patients with COVID-19, involving over 18 million people across 50 studies in the UK and US, has been published in EClinical Medicine from The Lancet. It examines risk of infection, risk of admission to an intensive therapy unit (ITU) and death by ethnic group.
