The Innovation, Universities, Science and Skills Committee has published its report ‘Putting Science and Engineering at the Heart of Government Policy’. The report makes recommendations for the place of science in government policy and the independence of government scientific advisers. The SMC hosted members of the committee for this briefing to launch the report.
