This new technology has potential for major societal benefit and wealth creation in such areas as healthcare, energy and the environment. To coincide with the publication of a new report from the Royal Academy of Engineering on the next steps to build on the UK’s position in the field, key contributors to the report came to the SMC to present their findings.
