This briefing gave journalists the chance to hear a preview of the main studies to be presented at ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) in Lisbon, Portugal from 14th– 17th June, with number of experts coming to the SMC:

Mr Stuart Lavery, Consultant Gynaecologist and Director of IVF Hammersmith at Hammersmith Hospital
Dr Kersti Lundin, Associate Professor of Reproductive Medicine, Sahlgrenska University Hospital
Also at the briefing was an announcement of which is a nationwide analysis of more than 14,000 subjects in Scotland analysing rates of miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy in women with a history of endometriosis. Presenting results was the study’s lead investigator.
