cannabidiol treatment for childhood epilepsy

Researchers have turned to cannabidiol, one of the compounds found in cannabis, as a potential treatment for seizures in children with epilepsy. Reporting in the New England Journal of Medicine, scientists have run a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of 120 children and young adults with Dravet syndrome (a drug-resistant early-onset form of epilepsy).
